With so much organising to do, it always seems a shame to limit your celebration to just one day - especially the biggest day of your life.

A wedding party with Go Camping UK takes place over the entire weekend giving you, your family and friends the chance to enjoy the whole weekend together, just the way you want it.

 

Exclusive Campsite Use

Our weddings enjoy exclusive use of the Go Camping UK camping area within Yaxham Waters Holiday Park which includes the following features

  • 8 fully equipped ready pitched tents. Each tent can accommodate up to 6 people and make ideal accommodation for families.
  • A traditional mongolian Yurt and a hand crafted tipi for a highly authentic camping experience. Each are fitted with fully sprung high quality double beds and can be used as a bridal suite.
  • A 20ft by 40ft marquee
    • Ideal for buffet catering for parties up to about 100 people. Supplied with lighting, two fridges, tables and chairs, solid portapath flooring and 16A electric supply for music and entertainment.
  • Additional chairs and picnic benches outside.
  • Plenty of space for games and additional camping pitches.

Can You Get Married on a Campsite?

There are two aspects to most weddings, the legal side and the ceremonial part - exchanging vows, blessings, rings etc.

Our local wedding consultant at Mulberry Days explains how you can be married on a campsite...

To be married in this country, the legal requirements are that a man and woman stand in front of a registrar in a place licensed for civil marriage with two witnesses. They have to repeat two sets of words, and sign the register. That is it; they do not have to say any vows or exchange rings.

You can arrange to do this official marriage in your lunch breaks, or even early on the same day as we are going to hold your ceremony. So long as you have the legal document, I can perform your ceremony however and wherever you want it.

Just two miles from here is Dereham Registry Office where they can perform the legal marriage.
