FAQ
What happens after I book?
You will receive confirmation of your booking by post and email. You will need to return a copy of your contract signed and completed to finalise your holiday booking.
Will you send me a reminder for my final payment?
Yes. If you have paid your deposit only we will send a request for full and final payment 60 days before your holiday is due. Once we have received your payment you will be sent details for the start of your holiday.
Do I need holiday insurance?
We would always recommend that our customers take out adequate holiday insurance, covering both the holiday and cancellation / curtailment. Please read our terms and conditions if you haven't done so already.
Do you sell holiday insurance?
No. Holiday companies who do sell insurance usually make a profit from it! The cheapest way to buy holiday insurance is to purchase it directly yourself. You may already be covered by your own annual plan, should you have one.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. We will either authorise a credit card payment of £200 (for the whole party) to be paid should there be material loss to the tents, equipment or bicycles during your holiday. Alternatively you can give a cheque (with card) to our representative at the start of your holiday which will be destroyed or cashed as necessary. Normal wear and tear is excepted.
What happens if a bike is stolen?
You are solely responsible for the safekeeping of the bicycles whilst you are on holiday and are therefore liable for any losses should a bike be stolen or damaged. This is standard industry practise.
