Family Cycling Activity Holiday on the North Norfolk Coast

 

Based on and around our spectacular cliff top location at Overstrand near Cromer, on the North Norfolk Coast, our all action, all inclusive cycling activity holiday offers an exciting combination of family guided cycling rides, treasure hunts and many other outdoor activities and events designed to keep an active family entertained.

 

This popular and sociable holiday encourages family fun, sharing many of the rides and activities together as a family but also within a larger group.

 

All families can opt in and out of as much as they choose, with many options to reduce amount of cycling you wish to participate in. Everyone has a free day midway through the week to explore the local area or collapse on the beach!

Our 2009 itinerary includes a range of guided cycling rides, games and other activities.

 

You will discover the beauty and tranquility of the Norfolk Coast, the Norfolk Broads and you will also have the chance to discover the charms of the historic town of Norwich.

 

With organised games, activities and cycling for the duration of the week you can participate in as little or as much as your like.

 

For 2009 we have a number of arranged events, including:

• A one way guided cycle from Norwich back to the seaside at Overstrand. Much of the route is off road via the famous Marriots Way before passing the National Trust homes of Blicking and Felbrigg Hall.
• Our cycle treasure hunt is great fun for all ages, with clues, puzzles and challenges for both young and old.
• A guided circular cycle ride through typical North Norfolk scenery and woodland trails.
• An orienteering adventure near Holt.
• A one way guided cycle ride around the Norfolk Broads and back to our site at Overstrand.
• Team building games and activities, examples include 'the frozen t-shirt competition'.

The activity week is fully inclusive of food which is all prepared and cooked onsite.

 

Our menus are designed to be delicious and nutritious, ideally suited for our hungry guests

 

We have a choice of meals to suit most guests with the menus including vegetarian options on all days.

 

Mornings are served by a hearty breakfast, including cereal, fruits, toast, jams and a bacon roll! Since we are generally elsewhere during the day, packed lunch is usually provided. Evenings meals consist of a two course dinner with a couple of sumptuous options to choose between.

Accommodation is in our pre pitched tents, which are comfortable and well equipped with camping beds, chairs, table and basic kitchen, so that you can make yourself a coffee whenever you like.
