All the campsites we use have, as a minimum, modern and clean toilet and showering facilities. Details of your holiday will include a range of eating options from recommended local pubs to nearby shops. Some of our campsites have onsite facilities which may include a small shop, restaurant or laundry.

Our cycling tours are designed to deliver maximum enjoyment, regardless of your cycling ability.

Over a typical seven day tour you will have the option of two rest days, ensuring that you have the time to relax and loosen up any aching limbs. For those who want to carry on cycling, there is a choice of recommended circular routes or feel free to create your own.

Every day gives you the option to cycle routes of varying length, typically between 10 and 35 miles. There is always a recommended route, of mid length which aims to introduce you to the countryside and attractions that surround you.

All cycling tours generally follow recognised cycling routes which are most often on very quiet country lanes but will occasionally take you on some off road tracks.

You will be supplied with maps (1:50000) covering your area together with a marked cycling route map and itinerary which will include full details of campsites, landmarks and routes.

We provide a comprehensive service with the aim of making your holiday as easy as possible.

Our team will pick up your bags, food and even charcoal from your tent and deliver it to the next campsite on your tour.

Any food produce can also be transported and refrigerated by us en route, allowing you to cycle and visit places of interest without carrying any more than a camera.

You bags and groceries will usually be delivered by mid afternoon.

Our cycling tours cover on and off road conditions and the best type of bike to deal with this is a hybrid, a combination of mountain bike and road bike.

Bicycles will be delivered to your tent on your arrival day, with sizes having been arranged in advance of your holiday. Our representative will be there to assist you.

If you would prefer to bring your own bicycle you are more than welcome, but please be aware that they are not covered by our breakdown policy, so please make sure that they have been serviced and are suitable for such a touring holiday. We will endeavor to help your with any difficulties.

A discount is made for supplying your own bike.

Included in your cycling hire price is the hire of a cycling helmet, lock and lights. We will also equip your party with a set of panniers or basket, emergency bike kit and pump. Please remember these items should you bring your own bike.

Along with bicycles we can provide and assist you with a range of other cycling equipment, including child trailers and tag-a-longs.

All our cycles are of good quality. We have a range of Claud Butler hybrid bikes and Schwinn mountain bikes to cover most requirements.

 

Peace of mind from bike failure.

If something happens to your bike that renders it broken, your breakdown assistance will cover the cost of someone collecting you to have your bicycle taken to a repair centre where the problem can be fixed. This is an extremely rare event given that our bicycles are regularly maintained and serviced.

Punctures are all part and parcel of cycling, your breakdown assistance does not cover you here, but you are given a puncture repair kit and instruction on how to sort the problem out.

If you are a novice cyclist or camper then our representative will be happy to give you advice on anything you need.

After checking in with the campsite, a representative will call around to introduce themselves and deliver your bicycles.

They will adjust each of your bikes to the correct heights and will be happy to show you the features of the tents you will be staying in.

Your representative will generally be following you around, picking up and delivering your luggage, so please don't be afraid to wave or ask them to carry anything else.
